5 Reason, Why Ghaziabad deserves a big round of applause…!

The city which gave our country one of the finest rum “Old Monk” has often remained in the shadow of the national capital. Here is 5 reason why Ghaziabad deserves a big round of applause.

1.               The multi flavored  housing societies:

The option of medium, small and high end housing societies are inviting lakhs of families from across the country to be part of this unique diversity. The mixed flavoured families  from different community and region residing in harmony, are adding to the strength of the city. Soon festival like Bihu, Onam, Pongal, Baisakhi, etc will be part of these ever welcoming housing societies, giving   Ghaziabad a distinctive reputation of The city that bonds.

2.               The Public Transport :

The city offers the cheapest and fastest mode of public transport. The average waiting time for public transports in peak hours is less than a minute. There are constant flow of tempos and buses connecting every corner of the city. The fare starts from as low as Rs 5 for 5km. The best part is, a vast majority of commuters are working women who finds the public transport safe and convenient.

         3.            The Hindon- Hudson connection:

“The City Forest” developed on the bank of river Hindon, is almost double the size of Lodhi Garden. This 150-acre lush green park, located near the new residential blocks of Raj Nagar Extension provides wide range of recreational activities. The nature park has designated pathways for hikers, cycling track and will soon have horse riding, camel walk, deer park, etc. The rich collection of trees like Neem, Bamboo, Amla, Guava, Jamun, Arjun is making it a favorite place for different species of birds. The City Forest which already has a large variety of flora and fauna combined with other amusement activities will be an asset to the city of Ghaziabad, like the massive Central Park of Manhattan near the river Hudson in New York.

4.              The City Infrastructure:

The civic amenities of Ghaziabad are getting a face lift in line with a modern city. Be it a public toilet, foot over bridge, green dividers, underpass,  signal less traffic crossing   or a new bridge over the river Hindon, the city is offering a wide range of facilities to its residents . Every few months citizens are surprised with “ärray a bhi ho gaya ….. wo bhi ho gaya”

5.         The Gateway to Holiday Destinations:

Plan a weekend holiday trip to the hills of Uttrakhand on Friday afternoon and by mid-night you will be at your favorite resort. You need not need to worry about the traffic jam. Skip off directly to any of the hill station, camping site or pilgrimage and return back rejuvenating yourself. There cannot be a better place than Ghaziabad to equally enjoy the best of urban facilities and the serene landscape of the Himalayan ranges.
